CT trip - Day 2

There is just something nutty about new things... it just has this amazing way of drawing you in. Showering after an hour long zumba class and getting more then 5 hours of sleep just doesn't seem all that important anymore. As you get closer to your new object of interest, your breathing gets heavy, your palms get sweaty and you know just few more minutes and its yours... You crave it, you need it... you see it everywhere you go... Ahem, talk about addiction, ha! But enough about that, let me tell you about the 2nd day of my Labor Day getaway. By the way, in case you were wondering, the name of the restaurant we ate at still remains unknown. So while someone, let's call him OK (no, those really are his initials) was snoozing away, I did a little digging on the computer and came upon a group of islands. If you know anything about a group of islands and small fishing towns that strive on tourism, you can probably guess that the only way to see those islands is a boat tour

CT trip - Day 1

CLICK ME  - This song is a perfect way to begin this entry as I predict I will be obsessing over it for the duration of my next trip.   But let’s not get ahead of ourselves just yet.   Let me first tell you about my last trip. Theme:   Abandoned Connecticut, Song:   Britney Spears, “I wanna go” (don’t judge me!) Duration: 2 days The whole point of this trip was to see the antique car show at Lime Rock, CT ( http://www.limerock.com/ ) and of course spend some time with someone. Well you’ll be somewhat happy to know that the that someone did not disappoint but Lime Rock sure did. Don’t get me wrong, the cars were SICK but maybe it was the muggy weather, maybe the fact that we took Rt 7 and stopped off to take pictures on our way or the fact that they had no ketchup to go with their surprisingly delicious hot dogs, but something was not working there. Long story short we got there when the actual event was over and only got to see the winning cars. I feel like I must go back to

21 days later

Hello... My name is M and I'm a travel-holic... They say admitting you have a problem is the first step to curing an addiction, but what happens when you don't want to cure one? It's been exactly 21 days since my last trip and I am  planning my next one and no I am not ashamed!!! While fighting with google map, I had come up with an awesome idea! - I had realized that I am a genius when it comes to planning trips and should share it with the rest of the world. Sure, I might be the only person to read it and possibly few of my closest friends & family since I will be forcing them to do so, but at least it will give me a much needed break from currently deciding between a beg bug infested hotel and one that's located slightly further from Beagle Street. For those of you who are a bit confused, Beagle Street is the most famous street in Memphis (yep, I googled it and much like you until I began planning my trip down south, I had no idea). You have to forgive me and

Take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprints, break nothing but silence, kill nothing but time.
